If you're a fan of Hagerty's Barn Find Hunter show, then you know about all the cool barn finds that Tom Cotter has been showing over the past few years. He's also a bike enthusiast and finally did an episode just on bikes. It amazes me to see the vast quantity of bikes that some guys have amassed. How do you even know where to start when you have so many? I would be overwhelmed. No F bikes were shown, but I'd be surprised if he didn't have any. There was a nice SOHC 750 at the end of the video. Enjoy!

Thanks for the link, Tom.
Tom Cotter lives not far from me and (prior to COVID) he had a yearly show at his home. Never much in the way of motorcycles, but gorgeous vintage cars abound...

Thanks for sharing that Tom. I have to admit that while watching I felt a weird combination of fascination and disappointment.
Looking at all those bikes gathering dust, oxidizing and slowly creeping into full seizure mode reminded me of the "barn find" you came across recently that as you say, is a "$1,000" motorcycle all day long...
I guess those who know can identify some bikes that are worth collecting in their own right, but the rest? It's too bad they are not available for the people that can make them ridable, and visible to others.

I hope his estate planning is all mapped out. Imagine being his Executor or surviving family! "One day all this will be yours" is almost a threat. I found it kind of sad to see the bikes just wasting away. But that's just me. Cliff.

I totally agree with you! Why have (hoard) so many bikes that obviously are in a state of decay. I wonder how many of those bikes would actually start? I would imagine the bulk of them are sitting there with gelled gasoline in the tank and carbs and 30 year old oil in the crankcase!!
Such a fucking waste if you ask me.
