It appears that Honda has stopped offering the carb connector boots for the 900 and 1100F.

Any information on an alternate source would be appreciated.

Thanks Tom K.

Available on eBay from many folks selling China made parts. Plug in the part number, I was just going by description that sometimes won't produce good results.

Also found them at Sirius Consolidated.

So......... it's not the end of the world as we know it. However, it does illustrate that Honda is actively discontinuing parts for our vintage bikes.

I tried two different suppliers from China and the boots don't fit well. The cheap boots are all four the same shape. The original ones are two and two different types. Now I am concerned to buy any other boots as there is a good chance that even the expensive ones would be made of the same mold. I the end I bought a spare cylinder head and there were rather soft boots on it. So I am going to use those. Bud a new set of properly fitting ones for a reasonable price would come in handy.

JR, the more expensive ones Sirius offers are pretty dam good. They have I believe 3 options, one is very cheap, the other 2 are around the same price. I have used both more expensive ones and they aren't bad. The ones that run 69.99 for a set are better then the 59.99 ones. I have put them on customers bikes as well as my own (race bike also) and have had no issues. If I remember correctly the most expensive are listed as made in Japan.

I can also get Honda OEM from my local dealer for $39.72 each CDN. They usually have a 20% off parts sale in the Spring. That's when I stock up on spares.
I bought a set of these boots a couple of years ago, I think I paid $32. w/ 20% off.

Another option J.R.

Go to page 14 of my thread in the photo forum. I grabbed a generic set for $33 on eBay and they worked out and fit well. No issues so far and I’m not very concerned. My homemade radiator hose ones lasted 9 years Laughing

Any way, my $33.00 experiment on eBay was a success. I wrote up the installation and some good pics. Just an
Option for your consideration Cool
