Hey Everyone,
Jim and family had to evacuate earlier today. I spoke with him this morning and immediately before he left this afternoon. He was finishing moving limbs that has fallen on his roof from the strong winds overnight, felling trees and moving then away his house. They will be staying with nearby family until the fire is contained.

The Riverside fire started yesterday morning and has now spread to 40,000 acres and is 0% contained. The progress of fire can be followed here.

https://data.rgj.com/fires/incident/7174/riverside-fire/

Jim's place is roughly at the blue square and is in the path of this fire. Let's hope the wind dies down so this fire can be contained. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him an his family and all others affected by the fires.

Those wild fires are nasty business. I wish all the best for Jim and hope that the fire is contained long before it reaches anywhere close to his neighborhood.

Thank you guys. I took what I could pickup and left.
Never experienced anything like this. My family and pets are safe so
we will be ok. I'm pretty gutted though. Beers are flowing. Smile

Be safe people. Peace Jim

Thinking of you, man. I have been in this situation and had to evacuate in 2003.

Best of luck Jim. Fires came close to us last summer, so know how concerning it can be. Keep us posted. Cheers, Chris.

We are all ok. The most scary situation I have ever been in.
I took some hand tools but mainly customers unobtainable parts.
I still have a trailer to unload and put back.

Thanks guys for giving us support. I wish this on nobody.

Peace Jim
