Hello everyone from Australia. I just purchased an 83 CB1100F (Super Bol D'Or) thats been sitting in garage for a few years. It had a top end rebuilt before being parked in the garage. Brakes are seized after I tried them (no big deal). I just wanted to get a start on where to source parts including aftermarket upgrades like shocks, brakes carbs and etc. What are the usual enhancements and which workshop manual is recommended. I've also stated to read this forum for past technical posts. Any info will be appreciated. Cheers

Welcome and nice bike!
Carbs use OEM parts except float needles. I use Keyster. They are much cheaper and are Vitron tipped which works better against ethanol. Study on the forum and ask questions for help. I have used a Clymer Manual for many years and in the technical section of this forum is the Honda service manual. Hope that helps

Thank you. I've downloaded the manual. At this stage I just need to remove old fuel and service the bike. I'll definately come back for advice. Cheers
