Howdy everybody:
It was my turn in the barrel today. Received a package this morning from TomK that included a $h!tpotfull of the complete brake system for my 1100F that he refurbished for me. As the pictures show, Tom's work was first class +1. Have some time to spare now as I sent this morning to Tom 5 pieces of aluminum for him to powdercoat, so I have a week or so to install the brakes, master cylinders and brake lines. I am sure they will turn out just as well as CBXDog's. |

Isn't it fun unwrapping Tom's packaging?
I had about a half hour into the last batch!
Truthfully...when unwrapped....you realize why they were wrapped that way....
You just can't beat a guy who not only powdercoats...but builds Honda's as well....

My turn, again!
I got two out of three of my third set of calipers, and a set of engine side covers:
And cracked open a bit of Agave Juice (Reposado, of course), getting ready for a vacation in Mexico, starting next week.
Privileged to call Tom my friend. |

No, no, no, it's my turn . Tom's package came in today and it is perfect. Still awaiting some left- and right-handlebar switches to come in from Falldown Phil and then I will be set to go riding. Here are a before and after pictures - be reminded that the chrome was peeling and chipped. Yes, it looked great from 10 feet, but now that I have Tom's, I will bet it looks quite a lot better. Thank you Tom. |

My turn - This Kijima Ignition cover was rusty, gnarly old chrome, looked like a piece of scrap before Tom worked his magic
Edit - that is a dog hair in the center NOT a scratch |

Steve, hopefully TomK will be here to let us know. To me, it is a cross between gleaming chrome and the original finish. TomK sent me several emails describing what he would do and I opted for this finish. It looks close enough to the original finish and I would be willing to bet that he has used this finished many, many times before. |

That's my two stage chrome finish. The powders are basecoat chrome and topcoat is super wet durable clear. It ends up looking like a cross between polished aluminum and chrome. And yes, I have used it many, many times - it's generally what I put on the valve, alternator, and timing covers. It also looks good on handlebars and anything else you want to look polished. I've used on the valve covers for my 1100F, 900F, and VF1000F and it holds up fine over temperature. |

tom once again did right by me. these pics are just phone ones so they don't do them justice. i took better pics and put them in my bike thread.
the thing that stuck out with me in dealing with tom is that even though he already has a customer for life with me, he treats me like he's still working for that. his customer service is as exemplary as the work he does. he's fast and his work is top notch. i sent him a bunch of stuff including so many bolt heads and nuts it was crazy. he did a fantastic job as always and the pics show it. thanks again tom!

Chico, it looks to me like that's going to be the color of the "new" side plates on the beast. I believe I'll bring an extra set with me when I go to Mass next week, and leave them with Tom for this treatment. Looks like a gunmetal gray. Way cool. |

hey chico, its called black chrome extreme. i had my valve cover done the same a couple years ago. i had the nuts, bolts and pedals done in the regular chrome finish which gives a bit of contrast. i had my side covers done in that chrome finish a couple years ago too. eric. |

The color looks great on the pics, hopefully you'll have it in the flesh at the Spring Event.

Carrying on the tradition with this mornings package from Tom K . Killer work, once again. Tom is a true artist and professional at what he does. And a super friendly guy who has been nothing but patient and kind to me this whole time.
Parts made it from the west coast to the east coast and back in about 2 weeks. Really good turn around and like those before me have stated, Tom does a great job packaging the parts and this time hooked it up with one of his shirts! Awesome Tom
.
Beverage of choice in the picture is a cup of pour over coffee( sober over here) |

Had Tom PC my airbox cover and blast my carb bowls that were gnarly corroded. Quality work as usual. Thank you, Tom!

The tradition continues. If you haven't gotten a box like this from Tom over the last 10 plus years, you're missing out on grown up Christmas in whatever month it is... |
