Safe trip Rick. I hear they have barrels for rent to go over the falls in. Try it and let us know how it works out!

Niagara Falls was awesome, as always, and we are now at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Oh. They have a beautiful campground on base, one of our premier spots we've ever been to. Will definitely be back! Pressing on to St Louis (at least), tomorrow.

Russ, we are saving the Museum for the Spring, and will definitely let you know before hand!

Wife just mentioned maybe doing the Museum maybe before the family wedding (early Nov), maybe see you then, bud!

Made it through St Louis (I hate driving through that town...) with no drama, tomorrows goal is Ok City.

Rick

Made it to Oklahoma City today, spending the night at Tinker AFB, pressing on to Amarillo tomorrow, and then Abq on Sunday (2 easy days to go). No drama, but hours and hours of miles and miles!

If you go by bullock train one time, any future car trip will seem much better by comparison. Razz

We did make it back to Abq yesterday, and have completed unloading the truck. The work of getting settled back in has begun! A wonderful summer comes to a close.

Update to this situation is that the NM house has sold, and we're fully engaged in putting things in storage and getting ready for closing on 9 June. Movers come to take the big items to storage (Climate controlled) on 18 May. Shortly thereafter we will depart here in the Santa Fe headed to Maine, towing a Uhaul trailer with the two bikes. After the Spring Ride we'll fly back to NM for closing, then run out to Burbank to deliver some furniture to a daughter. Come back to NM to pick up the RV and head back to the Lake for the summer. Lots of excitement happening here!

Wow Rick! That is quite the itinerary!! I wouldn't want to see your fuel bills! What are you guys paying down in NM?
We are paying around $2.00/litre with 4 litres = 1 USG.
Bob and I will burn about 200 litres of fuel for the round trip.
Safe travels my friend, see you in 3 weeks.

The cost of fuel is a concern, but we'll make it work. The end result will be worth it. Wife just moved up the Movers coming to take the big stuff to storage to this Friday (Day after tomorrow...)

No sir. We'll continue to leave Maine for the winter. The location of the winter house is TBD, looking in the southeast, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, etc. Someplace close to the mountains for good riding, and close to a military base, and close to a Southwest served airport...

Travels continue. We are in San Antonio right now, but recently spent a few days in Burbank, Ca. Had a chance to meet up for lunch with our buddy Genesound. No pictures, but had a nice lunch, and put a face to the name.

The other day, we traveled up to New Braunfels, and met up with Jebbysan, for a session of beers in the garage. He has a cool CBX, a Corvette, and several other customer projects in progress!

Have arranged to meet up with Ronnies wife Janet, next week, over in the Houston area. Pics to follow.

Nice tour you are on there Rick! When you get down to Houston, give Janet a big hug and tell her how much we miss her and Ronnie on the Spring rides. I hope she is doing well.

Ride safe bud!

We are just north of Houston tonight, and had a wonderful dinner with brother Rons wife Janet. She is doing well, and told me to say Hello to all you NE Ride criminals! It was excellent to see her, and re-connect.

Would have been good to see you, man.

We've been in Texas for a couple of weeks, over in the San Antonio area, while there we visited the Alamo Brewing Co, where I got a new "favorite" shirt:

Heading east tomorrow, and will spend a couple of night in Louisiana...
