Hi guys I’ve got a stock headlight on my CB900f and I like the looks but I’ve cracked the bucket. I’ve glued it pretty good but thought maybe it’s time to replace the whole thing. I like the 7” look with black bucket with chrome ring but wondering if you guys have changed your headlight and if you had a brand, name or model number I could look up. Maybe LED but it doesn’t have to be. Was thinking about maybe just finding another bucket in good condition but might be nice to change the front end look a little. Thanks. |

check out 4-into-1 as they have a good selection for replacements. |

The cool thing back in the day was an 8" Suzuki head light but those are like hens teeth nowadays. |

Yes I know. I have a complete assembly for when I was thinking of doing the switch. Never did it, so I still have it. |

Every one of my builds gets the Suzuki GS1150e, 200mm headlamp. Especially when I do a CBX. But the lens/reflectors are NLA from Suzuki in the last year or so.
Most of the used ones are clouded or the silvering is bad and need that essential part replaced. So, make sure what you buy is "good enough" for your personal preferences. |

Honestly probably lower in cost to get another OEM bucket. I've always run the Osram or equivalent 90/110 bulb. That brightens things up at night and is nice for running a bright during the daytime.
If money isn't an object, hold out for the Suzuki light. Keep checking Ebay..I pretty much got a brand new one or almost new.
I like how J.R. blackened the ring to match the case too. |

Depending on the model (I don't know which) some had a black bezel but most had chrome.
I p/c them satin black anyway. |

Mine is a Chrome ring which I was able to buy brand new. Alot of the parts are still available excluding the bucket and reflector and glass. |
