I added a GPS speedo to the old girl. Speedo is from Amazon, waterproof one. $96.00 US

https://youtu.be/h0-OxRNAKIw

To reset the trip meter you can reach in where the old cable was and press the button underneath.

Plus i swapped out the tacho for the 900 one i had.

Cheers Tony

Very nice - looks like a perfect fit, too. Can you set the odometer to match the miles that are on the bike?

Link to the one you bought? This is exactly what I want to do on my 985. I have an FZR front end swapped on my mine and the speedo is completely off.

Nice looking unit! Doesn't look as though you can re-set the ODO to your current mileage though. I'm running a 17" front wheel and have never really been happy with a speedo that doesn't read properly. Particularly with the Qld Police style speed enforcement!

Speedhut do some nice gauges. I have an electronic and a GPS on my two bikes. I prefer the GPS. The antenna can sit under the duck tail completely out of view. Not quite as cheap as the Ebay one, but you can customise and set the odometer.
