After sitting in a box for nearly a year, my Yosh replica finally went on RM-II today. Thanks to Chris' YouTube video, installation was very easy and there were no issues. It took me less than half an hour to get it done. Fitment is perfect.

It sounds awesome, but man is it loud! Cliffiec and Hondaron already have them on their bikes, so they know what I'm talking about. The video doesn't even come close to showing how loud it actually is. When I leave for work in the morning, I'll have to go easy so I don't wake up the neighbors.

Awesome job Chris!!!

Tom: Any way to quiet that down, i.e. remove/pack the baffle?

Tom, did you consider ceramic coating that system in black?

No John - I would be concerned that it would eventually fail. Stainless is great left bare, plus I like the look.

Only Chris could answer that. Not sure if it can be done with this particular exhaust. I knew what I was getting into, so I don't plan to mess with it. Wink

Tom, Chris mentioned clearance issues with 17 inch wheels. Did you find a way around this?

Just a heads up to those who have purchased or plan on purchasing my exhaust.

A fellow CB-Fer who purchased my exhaust, is running 17" wheels, 60 aspect tires, and F2 front forks and my exhaust is too low for his bike. It will scrape the ground when you take a right turn. Apparently his bike is 1 7/8'' lower than a stock bike. Just a heads up I don't want you to run into the same problem! Please check clearances before running the bike, and msg me if you need any assistance.

Chris

I posted this a while back, no way around this. I am already tucked within 2-3mm of the oil pan and i'm parallel to it. The mac exhaust is offset like a diamond so slightly less clearance in comparison and I never had issues with that as well. So just no more room to get around this. I built the exhaust to stock specs figuring it would be the most widely accepted. I'm not sure if anyone else who bought my exhaust is running 17'' or not. Hopefully someone can chime in.

I haven't ridden the bike yet, but I don't expect that there will be an issue. I have 4.25" of clearance from the ground to the lowest part of the exhaust, with me sitting on the bike. Hondaron has the same clearance on his 900F with the same exhaust and has never touched down. Based on that info, I think I'm probably ok. The one guy who has had an issue scraping has 3" of clearance.

Keep in mind that Chris designed this exhaust for a stock bike with stock wheels and suspension, not our lowered/modified bikes.

Fingers crossed and I'll know soon enough.

This is with my 18'' boomerangs, and I ran this thing thru driveways, bumps, cracks all over LA. I'm 185 lbs + helmet + leather jacket + backpack (laptop, small tools, water) never had an issue. I was at one point jumping on the bike in the middle of these driveways and turns trying to scratch and I never did. Best answer I can give you as these are just my personal experiences. I can't in good conscience speak on behalf of everyone so I appreciate any help or feedback you can give.

As they say with music, if it's too loud, you're too old Very Happy

I've got over 12,000 miles on my bike with this Exhaust and thanks to Chris it looks as good today as when I installed it !!!

So my Neighbors in our townhouses, know I'm on the silver bike when I leave and come home, BEFORE they actually see it, but they should,
they got to have some excitement in their lives !!! Very Happy

I love the fit and finish and would buy another one in a heartbeat Very Happy
