Getting late in the year up here. Snow is coming soon. Rolling Eyes Crying or Very sad

Took both my bikes out for a bout 60 miles each. Took my CB900F up into the mountain roads above my house and had a couple of photo ops. Then I rode the ST4S around the sea level roads. Also took a few photos. All in all a great last ride of the year for me and both bikes performed flawlessly.

Still grinning,
Dave

Black Beauty is looking great as usual.

I really like the look of the saddle.
The cut-out is not as pronounced as some of the race seats and retaining the stock cover pattern is an added bonus, imho.
Did you do it yourself or get it done locally? New dense foam or just a cut-out?

Steve.

Nice pics, as usual Dave. Yup, even down here, in SW Ontario, the end of the riding season is looming. We are supposed to get some below freezing temps over night tonight.
Once they start to lay down the salt/sand mixture on the roads, I'm done.
I went out for a nice ride yesterday, quite cold in the morning, but sunny and warmer in the afternoon.
I'm sure you enjoyed getting back in the saddle this summer, and adding that very nice ST4 to the stable.

Cheers!
Chris

Weather on Long Island NY is turning cold. Now and for the next 10 days in mid-50s and high 40s. Time to get the heated gear out.

It's a sad time when those of us who live in cold climates have to mothball our bikes. we have to dream of the great rides we had last season and hope for spring to come early next year. Cool
Winter gives us a chance to make the upgrades we postponed during the riding season.
Merry Christmas.

Chico

Basically done in Michigan. I saw a few hard core riders yesterday but into the cold and rain before snow now.

I could say move to Melbourne Australia where you can ride all year round, but hang on, maybe not a good idea as we already have 45 people an hour moving here 24 hours a day

Thanks for the comments guys!! I am still smiling. Riding the mountain roads and then along the Fjord -like landscape with mountains on one side of the road and the ocean on the other was quite a bit of fun. Probably about 160 miles between the two bikes but more on the Ducati because it was highway riding.

I need to drain the fuel from the carbs on my CB and read the manual on what do do for the ST4s. Chico is spot-on that I have upgrades and maintenance items to do on both bikes this winter. I am looking forward to it.

I am headed into the hospital on Thursday to remove a small object to be tested to see if it is something bad or nothing to worry about. Won't know until it gets removed and tested. I am still lucky to have it spotted early if it is bad news. Wish me well and good luck. Fingers crossed!!

Dave
