Conti-Kit rearsets and controls
I received this bike in many boxes and pieces, but saw
it as a really nice stable mate for my 1981 CBX. I spent a lot
of time, but not much money putting this bike back into shape. I
wanted something a little bit different, but still looking stock, so decided
on the European model Bol-dor.
The bike has 70,000kms on it, but still pulls strong,
and handles great (not great 2003, but great 1981 :))
I made the brackets for the CBX saddle bags out of
aluminum tubing. I plan to replace the seat with one that is more
"stock". Great fun to ride, this bike gets as many
"looks" as my CBX, the only problem is deciding which one to
ride.... I'm so lucky. :).
