Hi,
My name is Dave Henry from Exeter, NH and am
enclosing pictures of my 1983 Honda CB1100F. It's the first time I've
attempted something like this but it has been a blast. I bought the bike
on eBay for $585.00 but it was in tough shape as well as a charging problem. I
stripped the bike down with the exception of pulling the motor out as the bike
only has 14,000 original miles. I first fixed all and any mechanical problems
first. I repainted everything underneath as well as wheels, calipers, side
covers etc. I put in new: Vance & Hines exhaust system, sprockets, chain,
shocks, mini directionals and a custom paint job. I also have a feature about
my bike that is unique which I think is kind of cool. Since I painted the
inner part of the rotors gold, I had AFE Graphics make the F in CB1100F gold
as well. Also, my bike is red and white but has a black stripe on the tank as
well as a black HONDA. Stock the tank decals would have been black stripes
with a red HONDA and the blue and white bike has the red tank strip and a
black HONDA. I just wanted to be a little different. Attached is a picture of
the bike when it was on eBay, a picture of the bike stripped down in my garage
and finally the bike finished. I've owned the bike for 3 months
