1983 Honda CB1100F

I posted a message on this site a few months ago looking for a nice, clean, original CB1100F. I got responses within a day, and Larie Labardee in Arizona sold me this beauty. As he told me in that first post, "Box stock except the tires". Larie was a Honda mechanic in '83 and uncrated it, assembled it, and took great care of it for the next 20 years. It runs real nice, the paint is near perfect, and with my height (6'7") it's a lot more comfortable to ride than a cruiser or crotch rocket.

I recently e-mailed my brother in California with some pictures attached, and reminded him of the day 20 years ago when we went to a Honda dealer in the San Fernando Valley to check out the CB1100F. He sat on the red one and I sat on the blue one… Somehow we talked ourselves out of buying them that day, so I'm happy to have found a nice one now
