This is my 1981 CB900F with only 1400 miles. It has an 1125cc stage 3+
Yoshimura (OMT) built engine done back in 83. I bought it in 2002 with 800
miles. The original owner had it built and then parked it. He also added an
aluminum swing arm, sport control kit, 1100R oil cooler, Yoshimura header,
33mm CR carbs, Dyna ignition, works performance shocks, and works fork
springs.
The Yoshimura engine has dozens of modifications including extensive
porting, head, crank, rod, clutch, and transmission work. It utilizes the
1100F crankcase, 1100 cylinders (bored to 1125), special pistons, 1100
modified rods, lightened crank, special ground cams, special heat treated
cam/primary chains, and a complete balanced assembly. This work cost
thousands back in 83!
The bike was originally black but I switched to brand new silver body work
which I like better. I added 35mm CR carbs, Corbin seat, 1100F front wheel,
VF1000F rear wheel, interceptor rotors, fork brace, steering dampener, CRG
mirrors, galfer brake lines, and Metzler MEZ4 tires.
This baby is new tight and flies!
