1980 Honda CB900FZ

Hi,

Bike History: I bought this beast back in 1998 as I have always had a soft spot for the 'F'. She was in pretty sorry shape when I got her having spent the first few years as a Police bike (hence the non original speedo) and later as a general runabout.

I think the bike had been up the road a couple of times as there was a fair amount of damage to engine covers and cylinder fins. Needles to say these were replaced where necessary and cleaned up.

If any of you are wondering about the shiny bits they were done as follows:
Sanding with progressively finer paper polishing using buffing wheels on a bench grinder, then the parts were Nickel coated (I prefer this to chrome as it is much stronger and will not flake - very important on engine covers!!!!).
