My brother had this bike in a leaky garage. Parts were strewn across the dirt floor, and the bike was covered in animal fodder and spiders. He decided to give it to me for a winter project.

The tank was gone, brake hoses cut, and various parts missing. Not to say he didnt like the bike, he also has a 1981 CB900F in perfect shape. It took one month to get the bike where you see it now which is how long I've had the bike as of this posting.

The bike was built in the first month of 81. It runs strong and did run before dimantling but needed a primary drive chain. The polishing of the parts was the most time consuming part of the restoration. There are some things I noticed while collecting parts, the tank, tail, and one side cover are from a 1982... I'll live with it for now.

This was my first attempt at restoring a bike... I've always wondered what they looked like inside. Now my brother wants me to do his.

    Thanks

    Mark Lawton,
    Toronto, Ontario.
